SYNOD – JOURNEY TOGETHER
The Saint Edmund Parish Synodal Journey has reached an important milestone: the conclusion of the small group sessions during which fellow parishioners from every generation, from Youth to Seniors, reflected on the Archdiocese of Montreal’s vision of hope “In Jesus Christ, let us build a living Church that allows itself to be evangelical, is welcoming and close to the people”. We thank everyone who participated in the rich conversations that unfolded in the 18 group sessions conducted between May 15th and June 12th, 2022. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive and encouraging for continued and deeper involvement. Our Parish Pastoral Council will now study the group session reports and develop plans to carry the journey forward in the Fall. If you missed our parish sessions or if you wish to provide additional input, you can still provide input to the Archdiocese via an online survey at https://tinyurl.com/hsze3khj.

A PRAYER FOR FATHER’S DAY
O Eternal Father, You have given us the gift of fathers. Look in love upon those we call father. Protect and keep them from all harm; prosper and bless them in all good things; comfort them when they are lonely or afraid, and let no misunderstanding come between them and us to divide our hearts. Bless and reward our fathers whom You have called home to Yourself. Reward them for their efforts, love, and dedication in being a father to their family. Amen
St. Joseph, foster-father of Jesus, be a model and source of inspiration to all fathers. Amen
